Ask usWho you're dealing with
Sopley Garage Repair is run by SOPLEY GARAGE LIMITED from a unit on the edge of the New Forest, and the work we take on is deliberately narrow. We look after light commercial vehicles and small specialist fleets: panel vans, pickups, tipper trucks, minibuses and the kind of vehicles a trade or a small operator depends on every single day. That focus is the whole point, because a van off the road costs its owner money in a way a second family car rarely does.
Every vehicle we see gets booked in against a schedule rather than dropped off and forgotten. You tell us when the vehicle is free, we agree a slot, and we work to it. That matters when you are running six vans and can only spare one at a time. We keep the same technicians on the same fleet where we can, so the person under the bonnet already knows the history, the quirks and the parts that were replaced last time.
Our workshop handles routine servicing, brake and clutch work, suspension, exhausts, batteries, diagnostics and the MOT preparation that keeps a fleet legal. We use parts matched to the vehicle and the job rather than one grade for everything, and we tell you what we found in plain terms before any work goes ahead. If something can wait until the next visit, we say so, and if it cannot, you hear that clearly too.
Most of our customers are based within a short drive of Christchurch, Ringwood, Bournemouth and the surrounding villages, and many of them have been bringing vehicles to us for years. We are a small team and we intend to stay one, because the alternative is a garage where nobody remembers your van. If your fleet is the backbone of your business, that is the kind of work we are set up to do.
We keep records for every vehicle we touch: what was done, what was advised, what was declined and when it is due again. When you ask us for a history on a particular registration, you get an answer the same day rather than a search through paperwork. It also means that if a vehicle changes hands or moves between drivers, the next person inherits a clear picture instead of guesswork.
