Questions
Common questions about servicing your fleet
What kinds of vehicles do you take on at Sopley Garage Repair?
We look after vans, light commercial vehicles and mixed fleets, along with the cars that sit alongside them. If you run a handful of vans or a larger set of vehicles, we can take them on. Give us a call and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Can you work around the times our vehicles are off the road?
Yes. Fleet vehicles usually need to keep working, so we plan servicing and repairs around your operating hours, including early drop-offs and staggered bookings. Tell us when each vehicle is free and we will build the work around that.
Do you handle scheduled servicing as well as repairs?
Both. We carry out routine servicing to keep vehicles within their maintenance intervals, and we take on repairs when something fails or a warning light comes on. Keeping the servicing up to date tends to mean fewer breakdowns later.
How do you keep track of what each vehicle needs?
We keep records for every vehicle we see, including service dates, mileage and any work carried out. When a vehicle is due, we can let you know rather than leaving you to work it out from a folder of paperwork.
Will you tell us what a job is likely to cost before starting?
We will talk through what we have found and what it needs, and give you a price before we begin the work. If anything changes once we are in, we contact you first and wait for your go-ahead before carrying on.
Can you collect a vehicle or take it in for its MOT?
We can arrange to take vehicles in for testing and bring them back once they are done, which saves you sending a driver. Ask us when you book and we will sort out the arrangements for your site.
